ЗАКОН-ТАЙГА
Отшвырнув Организацию Объединенных Наций,
растоптав ее устав, НАТО возгласило на весь мир и
на следующий век древний закон-тайга: кто силен,
тот и полностью прав.
Осуждаемого противника превзойди в насилии хоть
и стократно - если технически изощрен. И в этом
мире нам всем предлагают жить отныне.
На глазах человечества уничтожается прекрасная
европейская страна -- и озверело цивилизованные
правительства аплодируют. А отчаявшиеся люди,
покидая бомбоубежища, выходят живой цепью на
гибль для спасения дунайских мостов -- это ли не
античность? Не вижу, почему бы завтра Клинтон,
Блэйр и
Солана не стали бы их выжигать и топить.

THE LAW OF THE TAIGA * |

Having cast off the Organization of the United Nations after trampling its Charter
underfoot, NATO has proclaimed the ancient law of the Taiga to the entire world --
this, well into the next century:
He who is strong, he is the one who is fully in the right [i.e., "Might makes
right!" -- gs].
Surpass in violence that opponent of yours, whom you condemn, even if it should be a
hundred times over, as long as you can outdo him technologically. And now we are all
being made the offer to live in this world, henceforth.
A splendidly beautiful European nation is being destroyed before the eyes of mankind, and
bestially civilized governments applaud this action. While people sunk in despair
are abandoning bomb shelters and coming out as a living chain to perish for the salvation
of bridges across the Danube. Is this not exceedingly old-fashioned? I cannot
see why Clinton, Blair and Solana would not venture to burn them out and to drown them on
the morrow.

Zakon Tajge *
Sutnuvsi Organizaciju ujedinjenih nacija i izgazivsi njenu Povelju, NATO je
proklamovao za svet i sledeci vek, kao jedino vazeci, drevni zakon tajge:
“ko je mocan, u njega je pravo”.
Protivnika koga, inace, osudjujes nadmasi
stostruko vecim nasiljem -- ukoliko si tehnicki nadmocan. I, u takvom svetu
nama predlazu da zivimo od sada .
Pred ocima covecanstva unistavaju prelepu evropsku zemlju -- i civilizovane
vlade ostrvljeno aplaudiraju. A u ocajanju, napustajuci sklonista ljudi u
kolonama izlaze u susret pogibelji, ne bi li spasli dunavske mostove -- nije
li to staromodno? I, ne vidim zbog cega Klinton, Bler i Solana ne bi krenuli
da ih spaljuju i dave.
